I have been using a small 15 in corded mower for the past five years, but I was getting tired of dealing with the extension cord. I decided it was time to go cordless and this Ryobi was about the smallest cordless mower I could find. I knew one of the larger 40v or 80v mowers would be overkill for my yard.It was easy to assemble and it is very light weight. I just folded the handle and hung it under the front axle on a hook on the wall. It is mostly plastic of course, so only time will tell how well it holds up.I used it today for the first time. The lawn was pretty tall and thick, but it only seemed to bog down slightly a couple times. Grass collection worked well, and it has a little indicator flap on top that will close when the bag is full and you run out of air flow. I was trying to hurry because I wasn't sure how long the battery would last, but I think I can relax a little. It took me 7 minutes to mow the front yard, and the battery still showed 3 out 4 bars on charge remaining.I really wish Ridgid or Black & Decker would offer something like this, because I already have a lot of 18v and 20v batteries for those tools.
